SUICIDE BID
This is The Generation

Format : CD and Download
Catalogue # : HAUS078
UK Release Date : 10th October 2005

SUICIDE BID are about to burst onto the punk scene. This exciting new musical collective features members of some of the UK's most influential underground punk/ska bands of recent years like THE FILAMENTS, KING PRAWN, EX-CATHEDRA, P.A.I.N., INNER TERRESTRIALS, and DEATHSKULLS.

SUICIDE BID arose in early 2005, playing a tripped out blend of reggae, dub and punk rock and aiming to be a creative force bringing together existing friends as a musical collective, and there was been a real buzz as the recording came together. This excitement proved totally justified - when demos appeared briefly on the band's MySpace page in September the buzz was echoed by fans across the web and the anticipation for this release has been huge.

The heady mix of bass heavy dub punk is complimented by seething political lyrics on topics including the July 2005 bomb attacks in London and the anti war demonstrations in London pre Iraq War, as well as a wry overview on a current punk scene more dominated than ever by the chase to follow fashion trends instead of a demand for change and progression.

SUICIDE BID is an ongoing project …this is the first strike!
