BELVEDERE are a four-piece melodic hardcore/skate punk band out of Calgary, Canada. They've been ripping up the scene in Canada and the USA with their fierce blend of harmony and aggression since 1995, and are one of the leaders of the growing punk scene in Canada today.

The newest BELVEDERE release "Twas Hell Said Former Child" was recorded at Night Deposit Studios in Calgary with Endre Lukacsy; noted for his work with Metallica, and Aerosmith. Released on Montreal label Union 2112, it has been received as their best work yet, combining harmony and melody with fierce hardcore undertones. After the album release BELVEDERE toured Canada and USA with bands such as The Mad Caddies, Satanic Surfers, The Suicide Machines as well as 3 dates on The Vans Warped Tour 2002. They also did their first European tour, playing with bands like Satanic Surfers, No Use For A Name and Pulley.

BELVEDERE have recently recorded for a split with Downway at the legendary "Inner Ear Studio" with Brian Baker (MINOR THREAT, BAD RELIGION) and Steve Hansjen (Minor Threat). 2003 saw their debut release on a European label. "Twas Hell Said Former Child" was licensed by London label Household Name Records, and the European release included two bonus tracks from the session with Brian Baker (MINOR THREAT, BAD RELIGION).
